Cargo Project Gallery (CPG) is an artist-run online gallery that showcases the works of artists from all over the globe whose art and creative practice are underexposed in today's art world.

Founded by Spanish artist and curator Kika Espejo, CPG  originally opened in Queens (New York) on the border between Bushwick and Ridgewood in July 2019, but as many art spaces in New York, it had to close in May 2020 after the COVID19 outbreak.

The gallery continued its activity as a virtual space with its commitment to serve as a platform that diversifies New York’s mainstream art scene. CPG gives underrepresented international artists the opportunity to showcase their work and engage with audiences with the aim of contributing to social change.
